Hey Danny,
I'm not quite sure under which topic to direct this question, so let's just assume "general category."
I noticed that if you type a term (i.e. daily search cast, jeep, digg, etc..) into the main browser window, you are re-directed to the official site of that term. Also, if you type in a general term such as boating, cars, wireless routers, etc... you are taken to the Google SERP.
Would you happen to know why it takes you to Google, and not the other engines? And, is the browser address field becomming an alternative to the search keyword text box?
