How To Tune In To The Daily SearchCast

There are lots of ways to listen to the Daily SearchCast. Here's a guide on how to tune in to the show.

Click & Play On Your Computer

Look at the home page. You'll see the most recent episodes listed. Each episode has a section that says something like "Tune-in by listening to this MP3 file." The words "MP3 file" will be a link. With many computers, if you click on that link, you'll automatically have that particular episode begin to play in your media player.

Alternatively, you can copy the link location (right click with your mouse on a Windows computer, then select the Copy Link Location option), then paste the location into your media player (with Windows Media Player 10, for example, select File, then Open URL, then paste the location into the box that appears). That should get the file playing.

Subscribe Via Podcast Feed

There are a variety of ways to automatically get the show sent to you via our podcast feed -- so many that we won't itemize them all here! Whether it be via iTunes, Yahoo Music, Odeo or some other service, at some point they'll want you to give them our feed. That's easy. This is the address:

Enter that into whatever asks you for the podcast feed, and you're set. You should start automatically getting the latest shows. Still need more help? Click on any of the links or icons below to get going with some specific services:

Subscribe Via Email

No -- we won't email you our shows! That's good -- you probably don't want a bunch of 30MB MP3 files clogging your inbox. However, we will email you when new shows are available, if you prefer to learn of them that way. Just enter your email address below to be notified.


Tune In Live

The show is broadcast live by WebmasterRadio.FM at 11:30am Eastern Tuesday through Friday. To listen, you need to load WebmasterRadio's live broadcast stream into your media player. Instructions for the three major players are below. Just click on the right link, and the stream will begin.

Windows Media Player (any recent Windows PC has this).
